How to Print Labels Using a Computer With My Brother Label Printer

• 1) Start P-touch Editor or P-touch Address Book, and then select the printer you are using.
• 2) Start customizing by choosing templates or creating a new label design:
• l Use a Template:
• P-touch Editor offers a variety of pre-designed templates suited for different purposes like address labels , barcode labels , file folder labels , shipping labels , name tags , etc.
• ① Choose a template you need.
• ② Change the information (text, size, font, etc.) if needed from the toolbar.

Click Print button.

• l Create a New Label Design:

First let’s do some basic settings. Double click“New Layout”and drag the edges of the blank layout to adjust the label size or click on “Paper”tool from the toolbar and select proper size for your label. You can also change “Length” and “margins” as well as Label Direction (Vertical/Horizontal) on the same panel.

Now you can start designing your labels:

• l Text and Shapes or Lines:
• ① Select the “Text” tool from the toolbar to create a text box on your label.
• ② Customize your text by adjusting the font, color, and style (bold, italic, underline) in the text properties panel.
• ③ If specific shapes or lines are needed, just choose the shape or line tool from the toolbar and right-click to change its color or style.
• l Adding Images and Logos:
• ① Click the “Image” tool.
• ② Import images from your computer by browsing your files.
• ③ Resize and position the image by dragging its corners and use the image properties panel to adjust settings such as brightness and contrast.
• l Inserting Barcodes:
• ① Select the “Insert” tool on the top menu to add a barcode to your label.
• ② Click “Protocol”, choose a protocol you need and enter the necessary data for your barcode in the bar code properties panel.
• ③ Adjust the size and position of the barcode on your label.
